Meeting in Santa Clara: (Dec. 8-12, 2008)
  • Laurent Rioux (Thales) and Young-Jo Cho (ETRI) have been elected as Robotics-DTF Co-Chairs.
  • As the 2nd Review, the draft of Robotic User Identification Service RFP was discussed, but we decided to have more discussions to issue the RFP.
  • We have one invited guest talk of Dr. Brian Gerkey (Willow Garage).
  • We have 3 special talks (Tsukuba Challenge, Hitachi, AFUS) and 3 new work item talks (QoS, Fault-tolerance, Directory service)

  • 2 Special Talk (Univ. of Auckland, and RoboCup) was presented in the DTF plenary meeting

Meeting in Anaheim: (Sep. 25-29, 2006)
  • The 2nd Submission of Robotic Technology Component (RTC) has been recommended in MARS-PTC, AB board, and Technology Committee
  • RTC Finalization Task Force (FTF) was chartered
  • We had 4 interesting talks;
  • 3 WGs have active discussions about the topics of potential RFPs.

Meeting in Boston: (Jun. 26-30,2006)
  • We had two special talks (Elisa Kendall and Jon Siegel), three WG reports, and three Contact reports.
  • We set up Contact Sub-Committee to promote active collaboration with related organizations.
  • We got a recommendation of adoption for our revised proposal of Robotic Technology Component (RTC) in MARS-PTF, but Architecture Board (AB)  turned it down.

Meeting in St. Louis: (Apr. 24-28, 2006)
  • We had 2 special talks, 6 RFI response presentations.
